The airport is well-managed, but the public transport is lacking. I took the 500 Express Bus from a central location to the airport. I arrived at 8:20 am on a Sunday and was told to wait another 10 minutes. After a quick restroom break, I returned to see the bus leaving. The next bus got me to the airport by 9:15 am. The delay was solely due to the service's operation, as the roads were clear. Luckily, it was off-season and a domestic flight, allowing me to rush through and make it on time. The fare was £11 for a single ride, while an Uber would have cost around £25. I won't rely on this service again. Total travel time was 50 minutes from the station to the airport (with no traffic).
