This airport is going from bad to worse… as frequent flyer’s, the delays caused solely by airport staff are becoming increasingly more frequent. In the past few months, we have yet to have a hassle free experience going though Glasgow airport. A shortage of baggage handlers have caused delays resulting in more than quadruple charges for family members are pick up zones (which are already exuberant) or worse, causing missed connections on outward flights. One day we couldn’t even get access into security as it was closed (how do you catch a flight leaving on time when you can’t get through security?) and passengers given zero explanation as to why when it did open with only 2 lanes in operation, thus having to wait in a 50 minute queue. In addition, Passport control cannot cope if 2 flights come in at the same time… the place is a shambles!
