GLS Shipping deserves nothing but 0 star reviews and to go out of business. GLS has been obscenely, incomprehensibly incompetent on this delivery. First, the expected delivery date was passed, so the delivery person attempted a day when I am not home. I would not have known though if I wasn't checking my tracking number since the driver didn't bother to leave a door tag. Then I tried to reschedule the next delivery, but was told they have to try and fail first because the package is already on the truck. Supposedly they tried to deliver again, but I can't be sure since they once again did not leave a door tag. So, I requested a delivery for November 7th with an 8am-12pm window. I stayed home ALL DAY, never left, causing great inconvenience to myself, because I was waiting on the driver that I was assured would come. When they missed the delivery window, I was told they would be out by 5pm. THEY NEVER CAME! So, I requested a new delivery date for this Thursday November 13th. This whole time, I've been being told that Operations needs to communicate with customer service, but has not done so. Now, GLS is supposedly making the 3rd and final delivery attempt TODAY, Monday November 10th. This is absolutely unacceptable. I told GLS they need to fix this. And I want my shipping fees refunded. They said that I need to get in touch with my vendor or my shipper for that. So, basically, no matter how bad they screw up, there is no recourse for the recipient, and the best one can hope for is that someday, finally, eventually, the package arrives. My advice: don't buy anything that uses GLS as the shipping company.
