Got the best rate on car insurance from GMIB. Called them looking to renew my car insurance and got a good deal from them compared to my existing car insurance. I got all the same covers and features like my existing car insurance but their quote was more than €200 cheaper. However, something that I didn't like, I had 3 penalty points on my license for overspeeding and it increased the premium of my insurance by 10% which was around €108. Now the 3 years of my points were over and I called them to see if they could refund the 10% extra premium on a prorated basis. My insurance was only in place for 3 months at that time so I was expecting a refund of around €80 on prorata basis, but they refunded me only €12. They said that's the best they could do, which to be honest doesn't make any sense. That's why reducing 1 star from my review.
