How many times in one day can you say 'amazing'?I had a dream Africa trip in my head - I had the itinerary all planned out - and Emma from Go2Africa made it a reality and brought it to life!Not a detail was missed. Everything flowed smoothly; we felt cared-for and safe the entire time. Accommodations were spot-on, food delicious, and sundowners? The perfect way to end each perfect day.The sights and scenery were spectacular. We bagged the Big 5 pretty readily... and many times over! I'm sure we also caught virtually all of the Ugly 5, the Little 5, the Shy 5 - it's crazy! We've only been back home a few days, but it was an amazing trip and there’s still so much to ‘process’ that my brain is in overdrive. We saw mind-blowing things and enjoyed many exotic experiences, but we think one of our favourite things was the fabulous people we met along the way… Emma and Maureen from Go2Africa, of course, but also our guides; they ‘made’ the trip – and it really drove home for us how people around the world and from such diverse backgrounds are really so much the same inside... the same needs, priorities, and aspirations. And, they are a wealth of knowledge, so passionate about their environment, the animals, and the culture. It was an honour to share a small part of their lives… I don't know if they ever realize what an impact they have on those of us so privileged to meet them and see their world.As trite as it sounds, a trip to Africa is literally the trip of a lifetime...And, Go2Africa? Wewe ni bora - you are the best! A thousand asantes!
