Go2Africa supplied lots of information prior to the trip to ensure that our expectations were met and our questions were answered.
Every guide we met both in Cape town and on safari were top notch- both enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
We booked the Botswana family trip with Lucy and Susan and was a pleasant experience and they were very good on exploring it. Unfortunately i tore my hamstring 3 weeks before the trip and my surgeon after an MRI advised me to not travel . I approached the company with medical certificate they refused to give me credit for future trips or refund. This was an expensive family trip and we were very disappointed with GoToafrica management
Most amazing trip ever , from the moment we were picked up at the airport to the time we left, everything was looked after. I have to be honest my husband was a bit nervous about the trip, as you always hear things like SA is not safe, well that could not be further from the truth, from the moment we landed and there was a car to pick us up to bring us to our hotel, to the well organized adventures we did , everything was looked after and we never had an issue or concern, Ramona and Beandri did a fabulous job. It started in Cape Town, our hotel they chose for us was amazing, and we did the tour to Cape Point, we hiked Table Mountain which was amazing, we went to the VA Markets , went to the coloured houses area, and so much more,the food was amazing everywhere we went, then we were off to Stellenbosch which in my opinion is a must see the town has such charm and the restaurants and food again is spectacular, we drove to Hermanus which is such an amazing town, now our whale watching tour was cancelled because of the windy weather, but we still went as the town is so beautiful, then off to Agulus where the two oceans meet, the views were spectacular……. Then we were off to our Safari Shumbalala Lodge , which was over the top Amazing, our Guide Phillip and Tracker Tony were incredible. The rest of the staff there was so incredible they looked after our every need, and made so many special meals for us and so many lasting memories,,,,,,, I highly recommend this lodge as well, Then after this we went to Victoria Falls which was absolutely amazing,,,,,, again the people and the views and the food, was next level……. I honestly do not have one thing I could say I wish had of been better as the entire trip was AMAZING….. I could go on and on, but please if you are thinking about going to South Africa do, do not let the fear of going stop you, we felt 100% safe at all times, and again the people , food, adventures and sheer beautify of South Africa was amazing ….. It’s a trip of a lifetime 😀
There are so many things to say about our time in Africa. The people were so kind and so willing to do anything to make your trip better. All of the drivers were great-eager to please, happy to talk to you and engage with you. The game lodges we stayed at, Simbavati, Old Drift and Chobe Chiliwero were top notch-very comfortable. The staff were top notch. The game drives were for the most part exciting and productive. We saw all 5 of the Big 5. We saw lions mating, a rhino marking his trail. We saw leopards mating and a leopard eating its prey in a marula tree while a hyena waited at the base waiting for something to drop. Kudos to Shawn at Simbavati for spotting a chameleon at night from about a 100 feet away. We had a blast. Thanks Go 2 Africa and particularly to James for planning the trip and Stuart for taking care of the details. It was a trip of a lifetime!!!
Our experience with Go2Africa was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. From the very first inquiry, Stuart and Kate were incredibly responsive, professional, and thoughtful in helping us plan our trip to Cape Town and Kruger National Park. Communication was seamless — every detail was explained clearly, and any questions we had were answered quickly and thoroughly.The accommodations they selected were perfect for us — comfortable, beautifully located, and full of character. In Cape Town, we were close to everything we wanted to explore, and in Kruger, the lodge was breathtaking, with staff who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.Every transfer, tour, and activity ran smoothly and on time, and the food throughout the trip was outstanding — from incredible breakfasts with a view to unforgettable dinners under the stars in the bush.Go2Africa made the entire experience stress-free and unforgettable. We truly felt cared for every step of the way. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone planning a trip to South Africa — and we’ll definitely be using them again!
We were referred to Go2Africa by a friend. We couldn't have been more pleased. Based on our budget, the company arranged for us to stay in some of the most beautiful places. In Cape Town we stayed at the Winchester Hotel and the accommodations were excellent. In Kruger National Park, we stayed at the Sambambili Lodge. Again, we were not disappointed. The room was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the food was wonderful. In Zimbabwe, we stayed at the Old Drift Lodge. Again, we found the accommodations to be outstanding. From when we first arrived in South Africa until the day we left to return home, our expectations were met beyond measure. I would not hesitate to recommend Go2Africa to anyone who is planning to vacation there.
We just got back from a wonderful safari trip with Go2Africa. The itinerary that they came up with for us was perfect, and we were able to see everything we were hoping to and then some. Everyone involved with getting us where we needed to be and all the people that worked in the camps and our guides were AMAZING!! We look forward to going back.
We used Go2Africa for our African Safari and Mauritius Honeymoon. I cannot begin to express our gratitude. It was our first time traveling to Africa and it was truly a life changing experience. Go2Africa made it seamless. There was not a second where we felt any amount of disorganization. Their choices for our stays were absolutely incredible and they respected our wishlist within our budget. We stayed at Thornybush Game Lodge- we cannot recommend this place enough. The place itself was gorgeous. The staff, especially our guide Muxe, tracker KG, and butler Appearance were some of the kindest people we have ever met. We will be back! Again Mauritius was amazing. We stayed at the Trou Aux Biches which even being a family friendly resort was still romantic. We were able to explore the island and its culture.
