This bank does not confirm personal information nor does it request personal information to assist victims of fraud.
Someone opened an account under my personal information: a paid for email address, SSN, Birthdate, home address different phone number. I was alerted to this and I immediately closed the account permanently for fraud. But they would not provide me with any of "My Account" information. Since I didnt open it, I did not receive the account number. I wanted o know if it matched the account that my hacked Coinbase money was going to. So $20,000 went to Go2bank but I could not confirm this account even though it was closed. So GO2bank basically received stolen money and did not care.

Once again my account is blocked due to suspicious activity. The suspicious activity: Purchasing gift cards offered to me via e-mail BY go2bank.com. Thats it...I simply purchased several gift cards for various retailers through the Go2Bank app and viola! Account BLOCKED...AGAIN!!!
As instructed by the app and an e-mail I contacted customer service...what a JOKE! They told me to submit required proof of identity to which I agreed and asked them HOW to do that...use the link in the e-mail we sent...there was and is no link and after three days I am no closer to resolving this idiotic event that has my funds in go2bank.com held hostage!!!

Very disappointed with this bank

This bank is terrible. They took every check I deposited into my account, and their so-called credit builder program backfired on me. I used it too much in one week and paid it off, but they locked my account, erased my records, and are still holding over $600 of mine on a secured credit card, claiming I can't access it. This bank is untrustworthy, and if anyone feels the same, we should consider a class action for their dishonest practices.

This bank is awful

This bank is awful. They took every check I deposited into my account, and their so-called credit builder program backfired on me because I used it too much in one week and paid it off. They then locked my account, erased my records, and are still holding over $600 of mine on a secured credit card, claiming I can't access it. This bank is dishonest, and I believe we should consider a class action against them for their theft.

Lack of proper due diligence

They do not perform proper due diligence for their customers. I received a suspicious email asking me to transfer money into an account that was clearly not vetted. Be cautious when dealing with anyone associated with this institution—ensure you know who they are or request to send money elsewhere.

They are scamming customers

They are scamming customers. Everything comes with a cost when using your money, from depositing without direct deposit to sending funds from a card, along with overdraft fees regardless of the purchase amount. Communication is difficult, as they just read scripts. This company does not represent itself well. Any other bank is likely a better choice than this one. Save your money, as they act like they are the ones struggling, not society.

Language barrier with representatives

First, the representatives should speak English that is understandable. Secondly, they need to provide clear transaction details. If my orders are not received in a timely manner, I will report this business to the appropriate authorities. I've already lost my last cent with them, and I will spread the word.

Difficulties closing the account

They will not allow you to close your account! I believe that is illegal. I can't pay bills because it is restricted. They say no deposits are allowed, yet they still accept them. Without a debit card, you cannot access your money. They should close the account and send me a check for the balance.

Caught in a scam

I never applied for this card, yet I fell victim to a scam. The scammers used a decoy card to avoid hacking my regular credit cards. I lost $1,010 to this card I don’t even have, and I can't find a way to contact them. This institution is very problematic, and I'm out a significant amount of money.

Customer service is lacking

Unfortunately, I had to select at least one star. I would not recommend this bank to anyone! If another service decided to become a financial institution, I would gladly choose them over this one.
