Purchased this for my dad's ute. Was very impressed with how quickly the exhaust got posted and how quickly it arrived, ordered Wednesday night and arrived Friday lunch time. Exhaust was easy to install and my father is impressed with how good it sounds.
Good customer service great delivery time.Unfortunately I found the exhaust system rather difficult to fit mostly with alignment issues and fouling on the body and differential despite dummy fitting the exhaust loosely and marking the flanges in the position the exhaust needed to sit.I couldn’t install the exhaust with the factory tail shaft tunnel crossmember plate in place as the exhaust was fouling on the plate.Due to the position of the exhaust flanges on the mid section pipe it made installation difficult tightening the top bolts top of the tail shaft tunnel as there’s minimal room for movement in tunnel to swing spanners or sockets.Once installation was complete I inspected the exhaust for any leaks with the engine running i noticed a big leak from one of the exhaust flanges.This exhaust leak was a result of a poor bead weld around one of the exhaust flanges. To resolve this issue the exhaust had to be re-welded to seal the leak.This product was a 3” mild steel exhaust with 7/8 extractors included fitted to a 2006 WM Holden Statesman 6.0L.My personal opinion not a bad product if your on a budget but very time consuming to install and obviously not ideal having to weld/fix exhaust leaks.
super fast delivery , fitted this morn , flanges dont line up excatually to exhaust flange , if you drill both holes out to use new bolts its ok , but i used original bolts that are threaded into existing flange so not 100% line up , but i managed , also the prongs that mount into the rubber hangers could be 1/2 an inch shorter to allow tail pipes to sit 1/2 inch higher , but sounds good no drone at 80kmh yet to test at 100 or 110 , but very good quality , ty cheers steve , i could send a pic of rear tail pipes if you like and how they could sit 1/2 inch higher
