CURB ain't all that - No wonder UBER rules!

My first experience with CURB: I am sitting in a taxi - trying to balance on the hump because it’s the ONLY place in the back seat of the cab where there’s a whisp of cool air for which I long because it’s hot beneath the refraction of glass that’s amplifying the white hot intensity of the sun. I feel like bacon, frying away back here. It is THE SINGLE MOST physically uncomfortable trip I have ever taken and quite a shame that I’m heading as far as I am (to EWR from upper east side - oh joy - this vehicle has superior shock absorbers and tons of legroom : IF you’re NOT a human sized or weighted entity! Being human size, I’m wrenched into a space about 10” in depth while hitting potholes and irregularities in the road as we go and I’m bouncing all the way, accompanied by teeth chattering/bone jarring slamming about. Cool air is barely trickling out, roughly at my knee through a dilapidated vent that can not be adjusted to direct airflow any alternate way - so the knee gets it. The sun is drenching my shoulders and neck and there’s an actual heat smell permeating the back seat mainly because of the non-bullet-proof glass (obsolete since credit cards and apps like CURB have removed the need for such safety imperatives while the likelihood of being robbed if your a cab driver has plummeted to basically zero). So hooray - Taxi’s now have CURB through which you can schedule & pay (and presumably rate) your taxi but they’ve done nothing to improve legroom, air flow, the ability to be heard (that plexi is quite an obstacle to conversational ease) or anything to contribute to “comfort” ... to which we’ve become rather accustomed with Uber, thank you very much!Is it any wonder why UBER has disrupted things? Oh wait, rhetorical question - hahaha - there isn’t any wonder at all.Add to this the fact that CURB charged the wrong amount, made an effort to modify the inaccurate charge (and that, too was inaccurate) and couldn't give a fig about the decidedly less than 'serviceable' vehicle I got stuck in for upwards of 40 minutes. In other words, no recourse, no customer service, no accountability. CURB merely functions as a billing conduit. And they don't even do that well.
