I am extremely dissatisfied with my recent visit to the local hospital. My insurance flagged certain medications on my bill for having over a 100% markup, indicating that I was charged more than double the actual cost. Consequently, my insurer deducted £73.49 from my claim. I was billed £240 for an injection, two sets of tablets, and consultation fees, which feels even more troubling considering the insurer’s comments. Additionally, the slow response in addressing this matter has been frustrating. The investigation is dragging on, and this isn't the first instance—previously, it took an unreasonable amount of time for the hospital to complete the insurance claim form, despite my constant follow-ups. Has anyone else faced similar delays or issues with overcharging at this facility? I hope it's just a mistake, but I'm currently very disappointed with the service.
