I experienced a complete lack of empathy after losing my dog three weeks ago. The veterinary staff showed no sympathy, which is truly disheartening. I will never forget this and will not return to this service. It's unfortunate, but it seems their focus is solely on profits rather than the well-being of animals, leaving me feeling very sad.
I took my cat to a local clinic, and within 120 minutes, my cat passed away, and they demanded £1000. Like others have mentioned, this clinic seems solely focused on how much they can charge. I can't share all the details now, as I'm preparing to take legal action. A similar situation occurred years ago when I took my office cat to an animal hospital; they performed unnecessary surgeries and treatments after a serious injury, only to later suggest euthanasia while presenting me with an invoice. I was furious, having witnessed the traumatic events that led to my cat's condition. The previous hospital faced significant losses due to their actions, and it ultimately closed down. As for the clinic, just 39 minutes after they took my cat's life, I received a request for feedback on my visit!
My dog enjoys visiting this veterinary clinic, he pulls me in! The nurse consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my visit is as smooth as possible. Although I see different veterinarians, I have never encountered any negative experiences. I would highly recommend this welcoming little practice. Keep up the great work! 👏👏👏👏
I am extremely dissatisfied with my recent visit to the local hospital. My insurance flagged certain medications on my bill for having over a 100% markup, indicating that I was charged more than double the actual cost. Consequently, my insurer deducted £73.49 from my claim. I was billed £240 for an injection, two sets of tablets, and consultation fees, which feels even more troubling considering the insurer’s comments. Additionally, the slow response in addressing this matter has been frustrating. The investigation is dragging on, and this isn't the first instance—previously, it took an unreasonable amount of time for the hospital to complete the insurance claim form, despite my constant follow-ups. Has anyone else faced similar delays or issues with overcharging at this facility? I hope it's just a mistake, but I'm currently very disappointed with the service.
I’m really let down by my recent experience at the local hospital. My insurance provider flagged two items on my bill as being marked up over 100%, meaning I was charged more than double the cost price. Consequently, my insurer deducted £73.49 from my claim. I received a bill of £240 for an injection, two sets of tablets, and consultation fees, which raises further concerns considering the insurer's feedback. Additionally, the delay in addressing this issue has been frustrating. The investigation is taking far too long, and this isn't the first time—previously, it took an unreasonably long time to complete the insurance claim form, even with my constant reminders. Has anyone else experienced similar issues with this practice? I hope it's just an oversight, but I'm currently very disappointed with the service.
This veterinary practice has undergone significant changes over the past few years, and unfortunately, not for the better. My experiences with the local branch over the last two decades were always positive; they were kind, friendly, and focused on animals. These are qualities you expect from a veterinary service. Recently, however, it feels much more business-oriented, and the sense that animal welfare came first has diminished. It's disheartening because this practice was once a top choice in our area. I used to recommend them widely, but I can no longer do so.
