The family running the orphanage is incredibly kind and makes you feel like part of their family. It was a joyful experience filled with learning and interaction with the animals. The accommodations and meals were exceptional and very comfortable. I absolutely plan to return one day and bring my sister along.
My journey in the Amazon rainforest was truly impactful and life-altering. The program was excellently organized, and I felt secure and supported throughout my stay. The service collaborates with responsible local partners and offers ethical, well-structured volunteer programs that truly make a difference. This experience has left a lasting impression on my life, and I am immensely thankful for the opportunity.
Being recognized as part of the team at the marine center and participating in the morning routines, such as cleaning tanks and preparing meals for the turtles, was incredible. A highlight was snorkeling daily to collect sea grass for a green turtle. The extra activities were fantastic, including swimming with Manta Rays and night fishing. The heat was something to acclimate to, and the walk to and from our accommodation was tiring in the extreme temperatures. Taking the seaplane was a wonderful aspect, though having a printed receipt for the flight would have simplified things. We would definitely choose this service again.
This experience was filled with amazing opportunities to learn and assist animals while also having free time to explore the area. We would do it again without hesitation. The accommodations were nice, the staff was great, and the food was good given the area's limitations. A fantastic trip!
I would love to volunteer abroad with this service again! I met wonderful fellow volunteers and spent time with beautiful animals at the sanctuaries. I will always treasure this experience and plan to make it a regular tradition. Thank you for this opportunity!
Communication was superb! The program details were thorough and easy to understand. My experience matched my expectations, though the animals didn't show up as much as hoped. This was no one's fault and didn't lessen my enjoyment. I look forward to volunteering again with a different program in the future.
