Update: After reading the reply I received from GoGetFunding I will keep my initial review as it is. Plus I will reiterate, with the instructions I kept receiving from one of the GGF customer service reps, non of the instructions worked. I would suggest to GGF that they make it clear at the very beginning of the application process on exactly how their site works, (meaning that the people seeking funding are suppose to ask their closest family, friends etc for donations first). I suppose this is fine for some, just not for me, and again this should be made clear from the very beginning of the application, rather than having unsuspecting people go through the whole process only to find out how it actually works. Also I never expected GGF to give me donations, I do not understand or know why or how the GGF Rep that replied to my original post felt the need to tell me this. Again I never expected donations from them. Unfortunately I was lead to believe, (by a woman with a very successful YouTube channel) that this was a platform that promoted people's donation request, but then upon starting the whole process, and through some deep digging and asking questions, I found out that is not how GGF works, so I deleted my account, plan and simple.My original post is as follows:Well I tried for 5 days to set up an account. Things were going okay until I deleted my video so that I could upload a better one. Then the nightmare started. After going back and forth several times with a customer service rep that I do believe really tried to assist me I still could never get back to the page where I could make the change to upload my new video. Her instructions kept changing but none worked. Also upon directly asking her what were the chances of my campaign doing well she writes me back saying the best way to get donations is to start out by asking family and friends for them. (Ahhh, that would be a big NO) (this is also stated on their site when you dig around some). Then she went on to say how I/people should go on all of my/their social media platforms asking for donations and going on TV etc. asking for donations. Personally I am older and was just trying to get support for a project that is dear to my heart which is doing natural energy healing on people. In any case I am not on all of the social media platforms because those energies on those are to much for me. So in conclusion it seems GoGetFunding does help some people, it was just not right for me. Maybe it is just me because I am not great at maneuvering websites......but trying to make changes was a complete and total nightmare that never got completed. I ended up deleting my whole account.
