In the past Ive had good service. The price advertised is what Ive paid - they have been delivered fast. This time I went for the £6.95 prescription glasses - but all you get for £6.95 were the frames - as soon as I added my basic reading prescription it almost doubled. I asked about this and they claimed that it didnt say £6.95 for the prescription glasses - but it does, just google it. I was told 10 days from order to expect delivery. I am still waiting - 12th Feb I ordered. Seems they are coming from some third world country. Even thought the company address is in the UK. My first two chats said 10 days, working days. Then when I complained they said its 21 days. Ive asked again and been given a tracking number - at the point of writing that tracking number just advises "We're expecting it" so isnt in the postal system. The postage rates are high, for each pair I added, they added the postage price on again as though sending individual parcels, but only one will come. What is coming could be sent for £3.70 Tracked 48 or £2.94 Evri. and im Paying £13. It doesnt say they are coming from India, but thats what they said on chat. I shouldnt have to pay postage from India when Im buying glasses from a UK firm, with a UK address, that should be their responsibility. So all in all - rubbish so far. Just waiting to see the standard of the glasses.
If information like: We are a UK company but we send stuff from miles away it should be made clear before you click pay and 21 working days - a month to get them. Ive just read some more reviews recently, that says the quaility is rubbish and they fall apart. After waiting this long I hope not. Customer service is also rubbish, cut and paste answers, guessing its a bot, if its not it types like it is. Then it cut me off when I asked why I was told 10 days and now being told 21!
