Very unimpressed! Stayed at the Premier Inn, Didcot Saturday and needed to book a taxi to go to a party in North Moreton. The receptionist said Go Green Taxis were cheaper and I could book online. I did this and used ‘use this location ‘ (where I was) and stated where I wanted to go. I got a quote for £21.60. The driver rang to say he was there but when I said we were at the premier inn the driver said he was at the train station. He said he would be a further 3/4 mins and that was fine. The driver arrived and we got in, however he then said the price had changed and it was now £40.20!!! We argued and he said it was a further 3 miles, but £20 for a further 3 miles is astronomical. I can’t fault the driver but the office person was very rude and just said ‘the computer said’. He offered no other explanation.In the end we had to pay it. But considering we had travelled up from London this was unbelievable. I thought you got ripped off in London but this takes the biscuit!! I would stay away from this company as they are just making up prices.
