Booked a taxi and had a text confirming this. It was for an important meeting and I allowed more than enough time to get there. It was not far and in Reading, there was no parking at the offices I was visiting and I wanted to avoid a stressful journey into town so thought taking a taxi would be ideal. How wrong I was. I was told I would be called just before the taxi arrived. Did not happen. The taxi in fact did not arrive. I phoned the offices twice to find out what was happening. A man told me the taxi allocated to me had a passenger and ‘he would do his best’ to get a taxi to me. Terrible service. A lady I spoke to was to ring me back and didn’t. I had to phone the offices I was visiting to explain the taxi had let me down and I had no idea when I would get there. The taxi did eventually show up just over 20 minutes late. The driver did not apologise and in fact blamed the office.I had told Go Green taxis that this was a very important meeting, one I had paid for. It meant absolutely nothing to them.I was very stressed out by this experience and would never recommend them at all. Do not use them, especially if you have an appointment you need to attend at a certain time.
