I have now had two occasions where Go Green have made fraudulent charges through the Go Green app onto my card. The first time was where the app charged me through card as it is setup but the driver said I needed to pay cash as it was not showing as a card paid for journey when it was - he even called 'base' to check. After multiple calls the following week I got the money refunded. The most recent event was this Sunday morning 18th June where I booked a taxi via the app. I then get a phone call a while later saying there are no taxis available for over an hour. After 10 mins of receiving the call the app suddenly says there is a taxi on its way and then I get messages saying the taxi is outside when it isn't. I call Go Green back and they say there is no taxi but they will send one.... After making this call the app then updates saying thank you for completing the journey and indicates that my card will be charged! I call back Go Green and the dispatcher says 'yes the app is rubbish and will cancel the charge' and then reitterates that there is still no taxis and the other handler who said there was one on its way was wrong it is an hours wait and my original booking because its showing as completed is gone so I am at the back of the queue again. The dispatcher didn't offer any apology or resolution to what had happened. As a result I miss what I was trying to get a taxi for but more criminally I now find that my card has indeed been charged for a non-existant journey and I face the prospect of now trying to get my money back from this amateur operation. I would absolutely 100% not recommend Go Green Taxis and certainly would not use the app or set your card up against it as it is a ticket for them to charge your card at their own will.
