They changed my flight departure time by over 3 hours (from 13:30 to 10:30), which completely destroyed my itinerary and made it impossible to catch my connecting flight from London to Amsterdam. This was a booking made as a full journey, and due to their change, I have effectively been left stranded with no viable travel plan.
What is even worse is that I was never notified of this change. I only discovered it by chance when purchasing seats — otherwise, I would have turned up at the airport and missed the flight entirely.
Trying to resolve the issue has been a nightmare:
Calls to their UK office go unanswered
International calls to India are expensive and useless
One agent could not assist, another left me on hold for over 30 minutes before the call dropped
Despite acknowledging that the change made my journey “unworkable,” they refuse to provide solutions via email and push customers toward a call centre that simply does not function.
This is not just poor service, it’s a complete lack of responsibility and basic duty of care. A schedule change of this magnitude requires proper communication and immediate support, neither of which has been provided.
I am now left in limbo, days before my trip, with no confirmed alternative and having to chase the airline continuously.
I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before booking with IndiGo, especially for international travel. If something goes wrong, you are completely on your own.
