I went through GoingVC's 8th cohort, and it's a valuable experience for anyone who wants to work in VC. You get access to the investor program that helps you source deals, due diligence, and present to a fund committee. You also get a lot of knowledge in a structured learning environment, plus a strong network and community in VC.
What I really enjoyed about GoingVC was the structured content and ability to develop your own thesis. It really made me think through my thesis, understand the landscape, find the right companies, come up with a professional pitch deck, and develop a unique strategy. Also, the lifetime access and alumni network are a nice plus.
GoingVC has been a very valuable experience for me. The program clearly explains how venture capital works and walks you through building an investment thesis and developing your own investment thinking. Even if you don’t end up pursuing a career in VC, the way they teach fundamentals and decision-making is useful and applicable to many strategic roles. I found the modules and discussions pushed me to think more clearly about risk, upside, and strategy, and I would recommend the program to anyone who wants to strengthen their strategic and analytical skills.
