Rashel Carroll Cattery....They texted my daughter from a 865-265-3986 asking if she was interested in a Siamese kitten and gave her the information cost, $500 for the kitten. They asked her to send $100 deposit via zelle or venmo to a Patrice Washington and then we decided that we would do test through PayPal to a Reco Garrett. They stated to send the remaining money through friends and family and when we got to the location to pick up the kitten, the house was empty and it was for sale. To finalize another payment of $65 for TICA registration. When you make payments through PayPal using the friends and family is less likely for you to get your money back. As is not covered by their buy back protection, since the transaction is instant Do not trust this website at all. None of it's true. Be careful who you give your information to and where you send your money through. I would never ever ever go back to this website again.
Joel will block you from logging in after you spend weeks or months making a seller profile, adding listings, photos and descriptions. It's not a reliable website. I was able to email support and he restored it only for a few hours and blocked me again. He is not reliable. I am in the process of deleting all the links I shared and closing my profile. I do not reccommend them. They have other male sellers posing without a shirt. They have spammy robots messaging you. Yes people are only interested in kittens, and they will message you. But you can't read the messages. I shared the listings I created in Facebook groups and Facebook restricted my account permanently as spam and disabeled my access to groups. So they are considered a spammy website and a scam website by Meta. I am still unable to have my Facebook groups access reatored. I was not a paid member and I would never upgrade because they treat members disrespectfully. It's not a reliable service. Joel is very rude and sabotages your profile. It's a waste of time. I used the website since March 2025 to June 2025. I am very dissafisfied that Joel is tampering with seller accounts. I do not reccommend that site and no other cat rescue group will use it. It's a site for backyard breeders who exploit kittens for a profit. It's not adult cat friendly. It's not shelter friendly. It's not rehoming friendly. It's not trustworthy. I had 50 active listings and 20 marked as sold. I only found a home for a half siamese kitten. The person who adopted the cat was able to contact me on Instagram. I think the industry needs better cat websites. I think GoKitty is owned by a greedy man named Joel who goes in your account and deletes photos, and will take down your page entirely if you don't pay. I am in the process of sending them a legal cease and desist letter. It's a risky website. If you share the GoKitty com links on Facebook it will jeopordize your business profile. Never share your GoKitty Links in Facebook Groups, somebody will get angry and report them as spam, and you will loose access to all groups forever. I now have to send legal demand letters to GoKitty and Facebook.
Spent time completing an application to adopt a kitten. My 3 referrals also responded within an hour. You think I would get a follow up email or call. Not a thing. I have always adopted cats and supported several rescues. Not this one save your time!
This is the best site ever!!!! I have bought several kittens from several different Breeders with no issues whatsoever. And I have also sold kittens as well on Gokitty I have referred them to everybody I know who is looking for a kitten. Great site and awesome customer service. You Can find any breed of kitten on this site as well as any Location. Highly recommended.
We have gotten a kitten and a 2-year cat within a two-year span through GoKitty.com. We were very happy with both of our experiences. We were VERY cautious, careful and only dealt with the local cat owners - via telephone, video conference call, and was able to see the kitten & cat in person BEFORE making a final decision. The cat owners were also VERY careful that we were "genuinely" interested and wanted to have the kitten & cat as our pets and give it a forever home with us. We are very happy with our two fur-babies that we got through GoKitty.com.
It’s a bunch of nonsense to get your info and then when you want to close your account it won’t allow you to. They respond quickly via email while opening an account but do not when you are emailing them to close your account. Most likely selling your info to other companies.
This website has to be a scam every time I try to make an account they just refund me. I’ve been trying to sell my kittens if an accidental litter for the past 3 days. I even emailed their support team to get no response at all it makes me very mad. You would think they would live up to what they say on the site. I’ve been trying to sell my kittens but they won’t even let me pay for a membership.
As a breeder, I can tell you there are more fake clients than breeders on that site. Needs to be a way to block those FRAUDS, because I have been in for years and maybe had 10 out of it 200 legit parents. They don't screen the breeders, but neither does Google, Facebook or anywhere else. That's up to the person to use common sense. I don't even respond to messages in the site, they have to call so I know where they are and who I'm talking to.It is basic common sense to realize certain things are red flags about breeders. Too cheap, claiming delivery in 24 hours, no website, no reviews, can't see the cat in person etc.The site is not at fault, they're very upfront about screening being our responsibility.
My name is Damian, I’m the proud owner of 3 Scottish Folds bought from Irina in New York, NY. I received my kittens in great health and was treated with great hospitality and kindness. I highly recommend this breeder to anyone looking for British Shorthair or Scottish Fold kittens. Give her a call @3472824519 if your interested finding your kitten and giving him/her a forever home.
I am not exactly sure how I feel about this website. I can definitely say that there are some scammers on this website, so be very careful. I think that most offers are legitimate. If you want to buy a kitten definitely ask for a FaceTime call to see the kitten before any payment. My next concern is about the health of the cats you are getting. This website should mandate health certificates to ensure basic health for every kitten. Maybe a health certificate from assigned vets -everywhere ( for every kitty)- that can be verified and contacted if needed by the buyer. A lot of beautiful cats are imported and are not genetically tested, so you can end up with a cat with cardiomyopathy for example. This can be passed down if studs and queens are not tested genetically, especially in certain breeds. I got 2 Devon Rex kittens through this website. One went smoothly, and the person selling them really seemed to care about her cats’ wellbeing. The other cat was flown from the Ukraine and I got to see it on FaceTime, then I payed. Health guaranteed!!! The kitten arrived sick and I was unsuccessful in keeping him separate from my other 3 kitties I already had. I had very young kids at the time, so it was just not possible. He had a respiratory infection, most probably herpes virus. Eventually all, but one, got the virus and they started having chronic runny eyes. My adopted Siamese got it the worst as he was an adult and was the only one not up to date on yearly vaccines. I think if I would have vaccinated him he would have handled the virus better. Anyway, I was very angry about getting a sick kitty! And what was I going to do? Send him back? A cat is not an object that you can just pack up and return! I sent a message to the seller that I wanted a refund for vet bills, at least. No response. I knew at that moment that this person only cared about money and not the wellbeing of the cats!!! So sad, but not surprising. Fast forward, 2 years later, the kitten from the Ukraine, the one with whom I had the strongest bond got diagnosed with severe hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and kidney failure. It was very sudden and I had no idea how sick he was. He had a necropsy because vet thought he might have FIP, but results came back negative. Results showed an inflamed liver and lesions in kidneys. My vet did not know what caused the damage as common viruses were ruled out. He told me that this kitty was a genetic wreck and advised me to not get any cats from that same breeder. I am sharing this story, so you understand the risks. Last thing I want to say is that be mindful when you get a pet. Pets can live for a long time and it is your responsibility to care for that life. Think ten times and look at every angle (financial, are you too busy, do you work full time, are you ok with fur everywhere, vomit on the rugs, poop on the floor, furniture destroyed from scratching, have a plan for vacation, are you ok medicating every day if needed, and many more) before buying a pet. I send love to all cat lovers who truly care about these beautiful, loving, intelligent creatures.
