I rented a car at the Madrid Airport (MAD) T1 branch using the Key'n Go package, which already included the Super Relax premium insurance. I returned the car on time, in pristine condition, and with a FULL tank of gas.
However, after I flew back home, Goldcar decided to charge me with two completely unjustified and unauthorized transactions on TWO different credit cards:
They actually charged (settled) my fuel deposit on my first credit card instead of releasing the hold as they should have.
Even more shockingly, they made an UNAUTHORIZED charge of 202.5 EUR on my second credit card. I only used this second card at the counter to pay a small fee for an "additional driver." They secretly kept the card details and charged it later without any invoice, receipt, or explanation.
I have emailed their customer service multiple times asking for a breakdown of these ridiculous charges, and I have been completely ignored.
I have now initiated official chargebacks with my credit card banks for these unauthorized transactions and reported the issue to the booking platform (Klook).
