Gold Medal travel was supposed to book a through ticket to JFK from BHX via Dublin. I arrived at BHX 3 1/2 before my flight. I was told by Aer Lingus that the flight was only booked to Dublin. In Dublin I would have to check in again for my flight from Dublin to JFK. It was early Sunday morning so I got on the 8.10 flight. Arrived in Dublin had to grab my case and check in with American Airlines as advised by the person in BXH. Went to American Airlines in Dublin who informed I need to check in with Aer Lingus. By the time I had got to Aer Lingus my flight had closed. I only less than 2 hours to grab my bag and check in again in Dublin. Because Gold Medal had made an error in the booking I had to wait for them to rectify their mistake and rebook a later flight which didn’t leave u til 16.55. The next day I contacted Millingtons to explain the situation. They contacted Gold Medal about my return flight. Gold medal had to have the return ticket reissued. Therefore although they don’t admit it they made a mistake and refuse to give me any expense incurred due to their error Yes I do want Gold Medal to contact Millingtons again.
