My organization was initially approved by Goodstack and I was granted access to Google for Nonprofits, including confirmation that my email was verified - they confirmed that I was affiliated with my non-profit that I founded and am currently President of. But when I tried to activate Google Workspace, it wouldn’t work.I spent over a month troubleshooting directly with Google’s nonprofit support team—who confirmed my eligibility but couldn't figure out why I couldn’t activate Workspace. Eventually, they discovered that Goodstack had silently reversed my approval, without notifying me or Google.I reapplied, submitted every required document, verified that I still met Google’s eligibility requirements, and pointed out that I had already received other nonprofit discounts through Goodstack for two different companies. Still, I was denied—again with no explanation. This was an extremely frustrating and time-wasting experience for a nonprofit trying to access basic tools to serve our community. Goodstack’s lack of transparency, poor communication, and inconsistency have caused more harm than help.
