Group tours are not for us. When we travel we want to pick our own experiences and spend as much or as little time as we would like at a particular site, museum, etc. What I don’t want to do is worry about selecting a hotel - is it decent, is it in a good part of town, etc. Go Real Travel is the perfect travel company for us. They selected and booked the hotels based on the type of vacation activities we were seeking. For us, that meant in the old city centers of Salzburg, Vienna and Prague. For each city we had a personal guided walking tour of the old town which was a wonderful introduction to the city. After that we had the itineraries and directions from Go Real Travel that were extremely helpful and detailed. But we didn’t have to follow them exactly as we would have had to do on a group tour - our days were ours to do as we pleased and adjust the itinerary as we wanted. For example they suggested going to Königssee in the morning and Berchtesgaden in the afternoon, but we fell in love with Konigssee and spent most of the day wandering the paths around the lake. Finally, the Go Real Europe team was responsive to what we wanted and made adjustments as requested. They also made suggestions on flights which was much appreciated. This was our second trip with Go Real Travel and we plan to use them again if we head off to one of the destinations they cover.
