Failure of Company about Hardening of the Glue…

This glue works well but nowhere on the packet does it state that water/moisture can diffuse through the bottle, in time, causing the glue to harden and become unusable. Preventative methods may be to seal the bottle in a zip lock bag with a package of silica gel inside, or even use a vacuum sealer. This is a serious omission by the company not to advise potential customers of this significant problem.

Overpriced and useless

Bought super glue gel 2 months ago just opened the sealed packet and though it hasn't been exposed to the air it has set in its own bottle.

Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service. I purchased 2 products before Christmas that were faulty or as the customer service agent stated "had expired". Like most people I do not keep receipts for small purchases, the absence of a receipt meant my honesty and integrity were being questioned by the customer service representative. They refused to exchange.

Very low SHELF LIFE within a year and tubes dried up and wouldn't dispense. Use immediately and save the receipt, as Customer service doesn't care if product is DEFECTIVE!

I hung my blinds which the tape said hangs up to 12kg and my blinds were lightweight and after a few hours the blinds fell off the window! I paid £10 for this tape. False advertising and what it says on the packaging is lies it hold nothing so unfair as I couldn’t afford to pay £10 in the first place as we can’t drill holes as it’s a rented house

Horrible and Un-usable!

Horrible! Turns immediately to a hard un-usable solid after opening. There is no way to use it or soften it once it hardens. And, their customer service (Christopher) is a mess. Not recommended!

Gorilla Super Glue isn't so super.

Gorilla Super Glue isn't so super.Premium price for one-half ounce of product. and you may get one-third of that out of the bottle before it hardens and needs thrown away. This has happened with the last three bottles I have bought. I guess what I have read and heard that their bottles are porous intentionally to cause hardening in the bottle is true.Recently this product won't even glue paper together!

Does not stick to anything but your fingers. Two bottles, purchased at different times. Both thick and less than the line marked on the bottle. Trying to build a Dumas radio control boat. The Gorilla super glue was a big waste of money and my time.

I purchased gorilla glue contact…

I purchased gorilla glue contact adhesive which clearly stated on the tube was suitable for plastics, I followed all instructions to the letter. The glue was completely useless, on contacting gorilla glue customer service they gave me new instructions with a long list of photographic evidence requirements which I promptly provided. They were still adamant that the problem was me and not their shoddy product so I asked to be dealt with by the ladies supervisor, a lady named Kim responded. She in turn provided no help or refund.I highly recommend to anyone thinking of buying Gorilla glue to not and try a cheaper alternative as the after care and customer support of this company is appalling.

Suggest leaving E off the name

Heard great things of Gorilla glue so tried Epoxy two part. I realise now that its called Gorilla because only they have the strength to open the pack. Instructions say snap off the mixer tool and the syringe cap - could not do either without pliers - and the cap would not fit over syringe ends for storage when I had finished. You also need Gorilla strength to push the plunger and there is no way I could get the glue and hardener to come out evenly. Worst of all, despite having followed instructions to the letter, the blessed stuff does not work. Another nine quid down the drain. My advice is to stick (no pun intended) with Araldite - a proven product that has stood the test of time.
