I strongly caution anyone considering a purchase from GoShopRight.On May 8, 2025, I placed an order which I later canceled on May 22. The company confirmed the cancellation in writing and explicitly stated that the refund of AED 198 would be processed within 10–15 business days. Despite this written confirmation, repeated follow-ups, and full submission of my bank details, the refund was never issued.This is a clear violation of Federal Law No. (15) of 2020 on Consumer Protection in the UAE, which guarantees consumers the right to a refund in cases of cancellation and failed delivery.I have now formally filed: A complaint with Dubai Consumer Protection (Complaint ID CMP-25-495885) A grievance with Meydan Free Zone, where this company is licensed A whistleblowing report for fraudulent commercial practiceGoShopRight has shown disregard for UAE consumer law, failed to comply with their own written refund policy, and continues to withhold payment after confirming cancellation. Their conduct raises serious questions about compliance, transparency, and ethics.If you are a consumer in the UAE, be aware: you may never receive your refund even with proof. I will continue to pursue this through the appropriate legal and regulatory channels and will update this review accordingly.
