We purchased a caravan (our first caravan) back in June 24 a bailey discovery d4-4, everything has been fine up until a trip in August 25 when the jockey wheel clamp bolt snapped when I was doing it up to come home from a trip. Having managed to get the caravan back to somewhere I could store it I reported it to Granthams. It is now nearly three months later and our caravan is still unuseable, apparently the parts are still not at Grantham`s and they will update me in due course, last contact 21/10/25. I have also had to provide part numbers from the jockey wheel meaning I have had to drive to our caravan storage just to get these numbers (on two occasions I have been asked to provide different numbers), surely the part is the same on all d4-4 caravans, process for process sake! Bought this caravan to get away at weekends as we have a little boy in school, 3 months out of 16 its been off the road, still waiting! I am sure there is a spare jockey wheel clamp on a number of shiny caravans they will take your deposit on today!
