Stayed a night at the (as the web site states) recently refurbished Red Lion in Fareham. If this is true GK need to reclaim the money. Tatty wall paper hanging, awful vomit coloured yellow paint, tiles in bathroom old rather than retro. Old heavy furniture that is not antique. No lift. Nothing blended together in a coherent or pleasant decor. Tired, dated, and so many more negatives. Won't be staying again.ADDED - to be fair the staff in the restaurant at breakfast were lovely, really friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was superb, lots of choice, well cooked. I had a child's portion and couldn't eat it all.
