I joined Green flag and for over 2 years I didn’t need them, when I did the service was very poor. I was in France and had European Cover. Their first questions are to try and get out of sending you support. I had to wait over 5 hours for support, with many phone calls to chase up. It transpires the ‘lad’ (that’s how he came across) did not follow the protocol for passing jobs to the their French partner. Eventually, I contacted them directly, although initially I was not given their contact details by green flag. Also the breakdown service does not send someone competent to diagnose a fault, just a recovery lorry so I had to prolong my stay for several days while it was in a queue to be viewed in a garage. Overall, once they were engaged the French partner were professional and kept in contact.
