Absolutely terrible experience with Green Motion Athens – avoid at all costs! Firstly I called - to no avail. When I arrived, the office was completely shut with only two phone numbers on the door. I called, and they said someone would come in 40 minutes. It was raining heavily, so after waiting I called back and said I’d return in a couple of hours because I couldn’t stand outside in the rain.When I finally came back, they told me they had given away my car as I needed to pick it up on time and that I now had to pay £12 extra per day. I then contacted carrental8.com, where I had booked, only to be asked, “Why were you late?” – and said they will escalate but possibly not refund as I had prepaid for the entire rental period.The whole thing is a complete joke and a disgraceful way to start a holiday. I’m writing this review while sitting next door at another rental office, having wasted half of my day because of Green Motion’s incompetence.The funniest thing is that in front of me waiting to be served at enterprise car rental are a couple that stormed out of green motion just as I was entering not very impressed by the service either 🤣Avoid at all costs – unless you want stress, extra charges, and your holiday ruined before it even begins.
