When I first started using the app, I was very happy π. I created my account with my details and even generated a link to verify a U.S. account πΊπΈ. During the process, I used my local Nigerian bank (Opay) π¦ to send a small amount of money just to confirm if the app truly works. The money went through successfully β
, and that made me trust the app even more.
Later on, a good friend of mine, Christopher, who lives in Leesburg, Alabama (USA) πΊπΈ, sent me $699 from his U.S. Direct Express bank to my Grey account πΈ. This transaction was done on December 3rd, 2025 π

Can you believe that up till today, I have not received the money at all? π‘π’ I am very upset because this company has basically held my money, and I feel completely disappointed. I trusted the app because my local Nigerian transaction worked, but when a much bigger amount was sent from the U.S., it never reached me.
When I checked the transaction status, I was told to wait three business days β³. But since December 3rd last year till now, havenβt three business days already passed? π€·π½ββοΈ Yet, there is still no money showing on my Grey dashboard π΅.
I even reported this issue to Grey company on TikTok π±, but I received no response at all π«.
For clarity, the bank through which the money was sent into the Grey app is Lead Bank π¦.
