In the last six months I have booked an online delivery with Morrisons and each time they have cancelled the order the day of delivery with a spurious “we could not preauthorise your card”. On both occasions the card details were correct and more than sufficient funds available in the account the card is connected to. It seems that their lazy staff couldn’t be bothered to pick the order so simply make up a reason for not doing so. I’m sticking with Waitrose in future. At least they are competent. This is shameful behaviour Morrisons.
