Received my first order this morning. Fruit and veg look really good, fresh, colourful and not in plastic bags.
Well worth ordering. I aim to eat more veggies and more fruit, ordering from Groobarb will hopefully encourage me to do this.

Had 2 boxes to date. I was expecting to help the British farmers but received bananas and tangerines, these are not homegrown. The bananas were already on the turn as were the leeks. The potatoes were brown once cooked so went straight in the bin. Still holding out hope I'll get a box I can fully utilise.
The produce here is fantastic! The apples are so vividly red, reminiscent of something out of a fairy tale like Snow White. The carrots are impressively large as well. I always look forward to when they come in. Additionally, it's great knowing that I'm helping reduce the carbon footprint by supporting local farmers.
For a year and a half, our family of five has enjoyed being Groobarbs subscribers. Our household devours plenty of veggies and fruits, making our weekly delivery something we truly enjoy. The produce always impresses us, with summertime lettuces and fruits being particular highlights. The service is flexible, allowing us to easily skip deliveries, add or subtract items, or even include a tasty sourdough loaf. The cherry on top is driving by the fields of carrots on my daily commute and knowing there's no plastic waste involved. Huge thanks!
Been having this for a couple of weeks. Started with the x small fruit and veg box, good amount of produce, apples and pears really nice and juicy. I got 6 clementines, 6 carrots, 5 pears, 5 apples, 3 onions, broccoli, white cabbage and a small bag of potatoes. I’ve changed to a veg box though as there isn’t much in the way of fruit at this time of year and I didn’t really want to be getting bananas or citrus fruit, as the whole point of me doing this was to support local farms rather than supermarkets. Yes it’s more expensive but it’s good quality and lasts longer and there’s something more appealing about muddy potatoes. Gave 4 stars due to lack of fruit choices at this time of year.
I have been having a medium fruit and veg box for about 4 months and I am really pleased with the quality of the produce. I recently moved into the area where they farm, and was prompted to try because I was driving past the fields where they were picking crops which are a couple of miles from my house. Fresh, local, seasonal...it ticks all the boxes. I actually think it is good value for money, if you want super cheap food then maybe this isn't for you and there's nothing wrong in that. I'm on a budget too so I've started to get one box a month but I find that it lasts ages and alongside stuff I grow on my own allotment, I'm buying much less from the big supermarkets. Plus, it's a great way to try stuff you either don't see or don't know about, but mainly seasonal! Recently we had spaghetti squash and kohlrabi which were excellent. It's easy to substitute items too for just £1 extra for up to 4 swaps which I think is a fair charge. You can skip deliveries or order extras so it's really flexible. You also receive a little newsletter and recipe idea, the box is now foldable for ease of storage until collection at next delivery. I am really happy and would recommend to anyone.
I have been using Groobarbs for about a month now and have to say the quality of produce is exceptional, the bread is amazing and eggs are super fresh, my only suggestion would be that when delivering putting the boxes in plastic bags if its raining, other than that, perfect!
Love the extra small box- absolutely spot on for a single person. Veg absolutely fresh and tasty. Delivery no problem. Though fruit and veg maybe slightly more expensive than eg supermarket, I'm completely satisfied with the easy online ordering method, variety of fruit/veg offered, and the regular delivery. Totally recommend Groobarbs. Xx
We had a glorious meal at Groobarbs Friday evening that we wanted to give feedback. The food was exquisite! We can’t fault it and the restaurant vibe was perfect with low level lighting which was just right. My boyfriend particularly enjoyed the dessert and wine. The venue is pretty. Seeing the chefs cooking and prepping as you waited and they didn’t seem flustered at all. The presentation was as glorious as the taste! We also thought the live music was so great! We loved the varied music and it was sang beautifully. The staff who served us were so helpful and friendly. We will be back again. Thanks so much for a wonderful evening.
