Having considered zero drop shoes for some time, my interest peaked when I saw another person at my local gym wearing a pair. Although not wearing a Grounded Footwear product, he was hooked on the principle and benefits of the barefoot concept, not only for himself, but also his entire family. Since I was not familiar with the different zero drop brands, some quick research on the internet revealed Grounded Footwear consistently received excellent reviews, along with the highest ratings. Therefore, I ordered two pair the same day with my new shoes arriving less than five days later. Grounded Footwear kept me apprised of each step as my order was processed -- from selecting the items, the preparation for shipment, the method of shipment and estimated date for delivery, and then when the parcel arrived at my front door. Although I have had my new shoes for less than two weeks, they have already become my "go-to-shoes." The non-slip sole gives a safe and secure feeling, especially when walking on what might be a slippery surface, guarding the wearer against unanticipated falls. Plus, the shoes are extremely light weight giving the feeling of walking barefoot, and the wide toe box eliminates any "hot spots." Elastic laces also remove any pressure points, while allowing for easy on and off. Overall, these shoes are comfortable beyond belief...and, if that's not enough, I have already received several compliments about how sharp they look...so, they definitely have great "curb appeal!" And, one additional side benefit -- they make a safe and comfortable slipper to be worn around the house. The only negative is you have just two colors to choose from -- black or white. Hopefully, with time that will change with a wider choice in preferred colors.
