The shoes are okay. I thought I read somewhere that they had arch support, but there is none. I have had plantar faciitis in my left foot which has healed (twice). I have high arches and haven't gone barefoot in literally 20 years, but I miss padding around the house in fuzzy socks in the winter. I've also read the opinion of arch support making the foot weak, so I decided to try this footware. I certainly would never exercise walk or hike in them, but if I use my Superfeet green insoles, I find them comfortable for wear around the house. I'm hoping to ease into making my feet stronger but am reluctant to give up arch support altogether. I'm enjoying them for now but don't know that I'd buy them again.
