I have both plantar faciitis and achilles' tendonitis, so walking barefoot is incredibly painful for me. The problem is that I hate shoes and I love being barefoot, so this was really hard for me. How can a shoe that looks and feels so flimsy have such a huge impact on my feet? But the difference is astounding. When I'm barefoot, I have to take tiny, stilting steps.
