I am writing to share my experience with Grove & Dean (Performance Direct).There was a 5-day delay in receiving a quotation for "Business Use," during which their team repeatedly asked for information I had already provided in writing. Furthermore, they pushed for communication via phone rather than continuing the discussion in writing, which I found made the process less straightforward.When the quote was finally issued, it was for £993.44. I compared this with an alternative provider and secured the exact same level of cover (administered by the same firm, Brightside) directly with Churchill for £612.47. This represents a price difference of approximately 62%.This experience made me question the value offered and the transparency of the process. I have now exercised my right to cancel within the cooling-off period and have raised a formal complaint regarding the service quality and pricing. I would suggest considering other providers and comparing alternatives before committing.
