THE WORSE COMPANY EVER!
Yesterday I’ve called them to get a new insurance for my second car, since my first car is with them, and while been on a call iv told them to change my address as I just moved last week. They have told me I need to pay £205 - I was completely in shock, speechless and they haven’t done anything to reduce this, out of nowhere for nothing . Iv told them that I won’t make a new insurance with them anymore and I will close even the actual policy, they said £55 for cancellation and 3 days back just paid for the month .
Absolutely rubbish service and a rip off, they lost me as a client over the fact they tried to rip me off for £205 for nothing .
STAY AWAY FROM THEM-they will take your money with any chance they have !

Had earlier vented my spleen at Performance direct when in actual fact it is GROVE&DEAN who my anger should be directed at. Even though both companies took my money. Would have gave them MINUS 15!!!I had car insurance thru PERFORMANCE DIRECT on 23/3/26 but as selling my car poss early June I thought would have monthly instalments instead of 1 annual payment. I sold my car yesterday and cancelled my insurance too. Imagine to my horror an e-mail today saying I owed £143.99 as money was credited up front.( Sandra from Performance Direct said its in our T&Cs!!!). The bad thing is an admin fee of £55 was added like earlier fee of £35 to change some details on my policy.My car was insured from 23/3/26 to 09/4/26 a total of 17 days and cost me £212.51 in total. Grove&Dean got 11 months money back( it never stayed with me) and charged me way over the top. THIEVING SODS springs to mind and will make sure in my place of work( over 2,500 employees) not to use these companies for car insurance. How can that figure be justified for 17 days insurance. Am at a loss for words by this underhandness.From an ex Falklands Vet of 23 yrs in Royal Navy. A disgusted Veteran at that.
Absolutely appalling, please read the very tiny small print. I was on my way to garage as my vehicle wasn't catching and I couldn't get it going so I called assist who refused to attend home, of which i had included. I asked why approx 14 times to d8fferent people and no 9ne knows the answer. I wrote to the directors and my email was also refused.the directors must know the answer as they wrote the policy, no 9ne will ask the directors. 1.45 hours on the phone, numerous emails, every9ne blam8ng each other because no 9ne knows anything.disgust8ng service. 8ve asked questions about my 8nvoice etc, after digg8ng deeper I can 9nly assume th8s company runs on a fraudulent basis, noth8ng is shown ,no answers, everyth8ng is hidden. I'm now reporting grove and dean and assist recovery for fraud, theft, deceipt, misrepresentation to Financial ombudsman and trading standards. Cu you in court guys
