On arrival I showed my voucher and insurance paperwork to the man who dealt with us and emphasised that I did not want to purchase any extras. Used my credit card to pay the deposit and later found an additional payment of £152.47 had been taken. I phoned the rental office every single day of my holiday to query this, but they would not pick up the phone. On returning the car I was told that they’d charged me for an insurance package that I definitely hadn’t asked for. They insist that you enter masses of information using their on line terminal at pick up, even if all of it has already been provided in advance at the booking stage. I believe that this is a ploy to make it easier for them to slip in extra charges.
