Buckle down padded coat

my partner purchased a buckle down padded coat December 2021 as a Christmas gift and within one month the coat came apart on the inside seam. We returned to the store in McAthur Glen Cannock January / February of this year (2022) and they swapped it, although a different coat, it was replaced. Unfortunately the story does not end thereThe replaced coat started to come apart on the seam of the right arm, then the left, hem and back of coat. I attempted to seek refund and/or replacement and was refused.I emailed the complaints department directly - proved challenging to obtain - and explained the situation and was advised to go back to the store I purchased it from. I did and with much disappointment the store manager would not replace nor refund. Reason being it was a year old and proof of purchase was insufficient (copy of bank statement).The replaced coat early this year was not a year old and I am not in a position to keep returning to seek support and / or replacement due to continuning petrol costs as well as cost of livingI contacted Guess online who refused to give me the head office address to complain and ther resolution was to "go back to the store!" - this is exceptionally bad service and they have lost a customer. Reading other reviews it seems that Guess are not the best retail store to engage with nor purchase fromLets hope they take heed of my and other reviews
