This business does their best to make it nearly impossible to request a cancellation for a room even seconds after it is booked. They also are not transparent about who they are affiliated with, and their website deceptively makes it seem as if you are dealing directly with the hotel. They kept nearly $400 for a one night stay, would not communicate with the hotel properly, were unable to locate my reservation for cancellation, and were unwavering in their refusal to negotiate with the hotel or me. Highly, highly unethical, unprofessional, and deceptive. BEWARE.
To respond to Chantal's reply and claim that the website clearly states that it's not affiliated with the hotel, that's not actually true. The site looked almost identical to the Graduate Hotel in Princeton. I already reached out to the email you sent me and they were unwavering in their denial that this was their responsibility.
NO sense of customer service or care.
Thanks for cutting and pasting the exact same response you've given to every negative review.
My question remains: who was paid $391.47? Was it the hotel or the booking site because on the credit card statement, it is not the hotel that seems to have gotten the money?
This continues to be an unpleasant and not transparent transaction and your response further illustrates obfuscation.
