Avoid at all cost and be careful. They pretend in Google search results to be the genuine hotel website. Then they sneak in taxes and fees that are nowhere near what the south african authorities charge. 1 minute after accidental booking its non refundable and to complain you have to call a US phone number. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. I'm very angry ! The room cost USD 80 and after the fees and taxes (none of which are legitimate) , I paid USD 124. Absolutely shocking.

Be careful, they run a very clever and deceptive process where they amend the URL on a paid ad to include the name of the Hotel you've searched for to make themselves seem like an official booking agent, quote a reasonable price but then add on huge fees. I had £40 of fees added to a £58 room booking which was just shown in a summary box at checkout which it's very easy to miss. Probably not illegal but definitely deceptive pricing.

Do not book. Scam artists. I was booking a US hotel reservation 2 months in advance, and they switched it to a property of the same name in the UK. When I saw the email confirmation was incorrect and attempted to cancel 2 mins later, they said they could not that “the money was already sent to the hotel”. Avoid them at all costs.

This company uses deceptive practices, making it appear that they are the actual hotel website and not a third party. I thought I was booking a room on the hotel's site but was unfortunately on this company's site instead. I only realized that I had used a third party when I received the confirmation email. Additionally, they double booked me. When I originally made the reservation, I put my credit card information in and tried to reserve the room, but got an error message that said "This room is no longer available". So I started the reservation over and rebooked a different room and was successful the second time. I then saw two emails from Guest Reservations with two different confirmation numbers and quickly realized I had been double booked. I phoned the company within three minutes of getting the second email but they refused to refund my money. Although the agent I spoke with was very polite, he was ultimately unable to refund my money, even though the issue occurred on their website.

Made a reservation for March 18th 2026. My plans changed. Found out that if I canceled my reservation I would receive no refund. Never experienced a service where a cancelation request more than three weeks out would not generate any refund much less no refund. AVOID THIS JERK SITE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

They charge your credit card with what never mentioned to you.
They changed me $75 service fee and they lied about the promotion they promised.
I was shocked with the overcharge amount and when I called to find out why or cancel my reservation, the agent said that it's a done deal and no way to give me a credit or cancel the reservation.
All other companies, the have a cancelation rules if you request within 60 or 120 minutes.
My advise,
Book with known companies.

Guest Reservations is a total nightmare. They exist to take your money and then do absolutely nothing when you actually need help. I needed to modify my booking, and they refused outright, telling me I needed to go through the hotel - which is exactly what the hotel told me to do with them. So apparently, I can't do anything about it and am stuck in limbo.

Customer service is not helpful and is patronizing. Claiming they won't send me to a supervisor because it's busy - classic excuse. Avoid them at all costs.

I was not advised beforehand that this company charged me a $40 fee/ticket and I bought 6 tickets. This is fraud and it has been reported. You refused to refund me the $40 fee/ticket knowing you did not disclose that to me at the time of the transaction. You are a very crooked company.

It site is literally A TRAP. You will not see the actual accommodation rate until the payment is processed. In my case I ended paying 45% of the offered rate.
In addition to it none of the phone numbers worked.
I never experienced this "stealing feeling" via BOOKING, AGODA and TRIP.COM
