Extremely bad experience with their customer service. Some don't speak English, so you can understand them. One has just hanged up on me! There are some that are polite, but unwilling to help.OUR STORY: We bought flexible tickets from London to Dubai to travel in Feb 2021. We couldn't go as it was illegal to travel at that time. We were refused a refund and were told we can amend our tickets for a later date (no later than 18 months since the booking time). I decided to rebook for Feb 2022. I've checked online - the tickets were even cheaper than in 2020. I rang gulf air well in advance and nearly got a heart attack when 'a very knowledgeable person' told me that my tickets had expired!!! After further checks, they said I can rebook my flights and guess what - I had to pay £140 more!!! Yes, the tickets are cheaper by over 300 and they requested more money!!! They repeat over and over again that this is their policy. I just can't believe it. They do what they want and you have absolutely no rights. Now, after reading other reviews, I can't stop worrying about the journey. If they cancel it (to resell for a higher price), or we will get stuck at the airport.. I will never book through Gulf Air again!!!
