I’m writing this to warn other travelers. I booked what I believed was a Brussels Airlines ticket through Gurufair.com for my mother’s trip from Douala to Las Vegas. The site looked professional and took payment through Affirm for over $1,800 (including a reschedule fee). When my mother tried to check in, Brussels Airlines confirmed the reservation was invalid — the route shown (Douala → Yaoundé → Brussels → Frankfurt → Las Vegas) does not even exist on Brussels’ official network. Gurufair is not an authorized partner of the airline. To save the trip, I had to pay Brussels Airlines directly at the airport to issue a real ticket. Gurufair then demanded even more money to “fix” the problem. This site misrepresents airline partnerships and issues fake or partially ticketed itineraries. If you value your money and travel plans, verify your booking directly with the airline or avoid Gurufair.com altogether.
