Departure areas feel hot and airless, even in cooler months. Food options are limited and eye‑wateringly pricey, a simple sandwich and drink can cost as much as a sit‑down meal in town. Staff interactions lack warmth, adding to an already stressful experience. Overall: one of the poorest airports I’ve used; if possible, route through Lyon, Zurich or another nearby hub instead and spare yourself the hassle.
