Despite the EU passport control queue being totally vacant, the airport crams hundreds into a queue for other passport control. This delayed multiple flights. This is so operationally obvious and easy to fix that it is shocking they don’t resource this with more capacity.
It's hard to believe, but Geneva Airport is the most frustrating airport I've encountered in a developed country. Arriving after 23:00 means no access to the transit zone; there are no functional electric outlets for charging devices; and while there is smartphone internet access, it requires a paper coupon from a single working machine in the entire airport. Additionally, there are no water dispensers or snacks outside the zone, and finding comfortable seating while waiting to enter at 4 am is impossible. It seems like the airport has fallen behind, neglecting the needs of regular travelers as the world moves forward.
Is it possible to give zero stars? The immigration systems for arrivals and departures are chaotic. The staff are rude and unhelpful, and the whole setup appears designed to create panic among passengers. Leadership should be embarrassed by this situation.

It seems the management has not kept up with the needs of regular travelers, remaining stuck in the past while the rest of the world has moved forward.
The passport control lines are outrageous. With 1000 passengers arriving from three flights, it took over an hour to get through. The staff are unhelpful and indifferent. If you're flying to ski destinations, avoid this airport at all costs!
This airport is truly dreadful. The ground staff are utterly incapable of efficiency, and the passport control process is a disaster. The automated systems are unreliable, and our flight was delayed by 45 minutes due to the poor organization. The shops are overpriced and offer little value.
What is wrong with this airport? As a major international hub, there are hardly any escalators or lifts between gates and buses/planes. Carrying heavy luggage and children makes it even more stressful. I've never encountered such a situation in any other airport.
