Be cautious if you need to file a claim; they will go to great lengths to avoid paying you. My claim was just for a minor issue related to mosquito treatment during my holiday, but the process was frustrating. They made me wait, ignored my emails, and then asked for years of my medical history and bank statements. After three months, I was told I hadn't disclosed my use of certain medications, which had nothing to do with the mosquito bites! Additionally, they mentioned a £150 excess on my policy. I was only trying to claim £230 initially, and in the end, it was denied. It feels like they are scamming people, hoping you will give up. I waited three months only to have my claim rejected. This experience has been incredibly disappointing, especially considering I was ill after my holiday and thought I had adequate travel insurance coverage.
