I have no issues with gyft as a company.
They asked for my id, and it went fine even with my slightly modified Id (my wallet would close unless I put a notch near the edge of the I'd.
My only issue is the speed of receiving a card on the android app. The card will activate right away on the website but not on the android app. So i have to activate it on the website, then sync the gyft wallet again for the code to show in the app.
I have never had to call customer service.
To those having verification troubles try increasing the resolution of your scan and don't use a smart phone to scan the Id, the higher the resolution the better try a 300 by 300 pixel scan at minimum. And crop out all borders from around the card.
