Learn from my mistake

After loading $90 CAD onto an existing gift card, I attempted to use it at the restaurant, only to find it invalid. The app isn't available in Canada, and their support lacks a way to resolve gift card issues. I've come to realize I've been SCAMMED.

Possibly the worst app ever created for...

Possibly the worst app ever created for receiving a gift certificate. (1) Who needs yet another app for a gift? After downloading it, I received a certificate with a QR code for the restaurant. Then, my phone had to be taken away to scan the code. My unlocked phone, handled by who knows how many people? What about privacy and germs? Completely absurd. I uninstalled the app and advised my gift giver to NEVER use this again!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! If there's an error on their end, they seem unable to resolve it. A warning to all potential customers: buyer beware! I had a similar experience as another customer, except I was the one who purchased a gift card for my daughter.

Unable to redeem my gift card

I received a gift card from someone. However, when I try to redeem it online, the system logs me out automatically. This happens on both my PC and iPhone, so it’s clearly not a device issue. When I contacted customer support, they asked for irrelevant screenshots and sent a password reset. I questioned how a password reset would help, and I've yet to receive a response. It feels like their customer service is just a facade, meant to frustrate customers into giving up. If that's the case, it would be fraudulent.

Ordered gifts before the holidays...

Ordered five gifts before the holiday season, all with an estimated delivery before Christmas. I received no updates until weeks later, when I was informed one item shipped, but with no delivery date. Finally, I got tracking info indicating delivery was expected after Christmas. I still have no information on the rest of my order. I emailed customer service with no reply and requested a full refund. This company fails miserably at delivering on its promises...STAY AWAY!

Not supportive of the education community

This service does not support the education community. I followed all their instructions to upload my Excel file but later discovered none of the gift cards were processed because of .edu email addresses. This resulted in a $22,000 expenditure that they failed to process. They also did not notify me of the issue. I had to resend over 700 emails manually, which was a frustrating and time-consuming task. I despise this platform more than they seem to despise educators and students.

Avoid this service at all costs!

I was given $100 to use on this platform. You must download their app to access your account, but the app is overly complicated. They require you to purchase from their limited selection of merchants. The number of frustrating hurdles is too many to mention! I've spent hours just trying to access my $100. Over a year, I’ve used $75. I bought a $25 card, but the confirmation email number can't be referenced in the app. Now it shows 'no history' and 'no transactions,' and when I seek help, it says the site is not supported. My conclusion: they make it impossible to access your funds while likely compromising your personal information. 100% AVOID THIS SERVICE IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY.
