This was my first ever GymShark order - of three matching sets (shorts and sports bras). The delivery was prompt, which was great — however, all of the shorts had large, very irritating labels sewn into the inside leg, which feels like a strange and uncomfortable design choice for sportswear.
Because of this, I decided to return all six items. I carefully repacked everything in the original packaging, making sure all tags were intact, and followed the returns process as instructed.
When I later received the refund confirmation, I noticed I had only been refunded for five items. I contacted Gymshark via their chat and was eventually connected to a representative, who explained there had been a discrepancy during returns processing. One item apparently couldn’t be scanned — an internal processing issue — so they had only refunded five items instead of the full six I had returned!
After I pointed out that this was unacceptable, they did issue the remaining refund immediately.
However, had I not checked the refund details and followed this up myself, I would have been left significantly out of pocket due solely to a processing error on their side.
Quite disappointed and likely not to reorder.
